The faith journey was never meant to be walked alone. You find community, build real relationships, and stop hiding your struggles.

Serve
Serving others is where real transformation happens. It's where God builds the character and humility that discipleship requires.
Step 04
Disciple
Out of a transformed, servant heart — now you're ready to pour into someone else. Not because you've arrived, but because God has equipped you.

Scripture-First Teaching
Everything we do is grounded in the Word. We believe the Bible is living, active, and directly relevant to your everyday life.
Real Discipleship
Discipleship isn't a program — it's a lifestyle. We walk alongside believers at every stage of their journey with patience, grace, and accountability.
Fellowship & Community
God grows us through one another. The faith journey was never meant to be walked alone — we are designed for fellowship and bearing one another's burdens.
United Through Serving
We can't be Disciples United without actually being united — and unity is forged through serving. When we serve together, we grow together.

Iron sharpens iron. God uses people to grow people. Community isn't a bonus feature of faith — it's the environment God designed for transformation.
Our Beliefs

What We Stand On.

Disciples United believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired — the written Word of God. The following is our Declaration of Faith.

The Word of God
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible — completely and equally inspired, the living written Word of God.

The Holy Trinity
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Jesus Christ
Jesus is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary — crucified, buried, risen, and ascended. He intercedes today at the right hand of the Father.

Repentance & Salvation
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Repentance is commanded for all and necessary for forgiveness. Justification and the new birth come through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Sanctification & Holiness
We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth — through faith in the blood of Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Holiness is God's standard of living for His people.

The Holy Ghost
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart, with speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance — the initial evidence of this baptism.

Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion. All who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Divine Healing
Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. We also observe the Lord's Supper and the washing of the saints' feet.

The Second Coming & Eternity
We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus — to resurrect the righteous, catch away the living saints, and reign on earth a thousand years. We believe in bodily resurrection: eternal life for the righteous, eternal punishment for the wicked.

The Founder's Story

Why I Started Disciples United.

I grew up in church — a strict Pentecostal, Spanish-speaking congregation where legalism was heavy. At fifteen years old, I walked out of my home and into the streets. What followed were years of alcoholism, drug addiction, and a life that was running hard in the wrong direction.

In 2023, God brought me back to Himself. I rededicated my life to Jesus, got baptized, and the Lord delivered me from a cocaine addiction that had its grip on me. That deliverance was real, and it changed everything.

But even after returning to church, something was missing. I was hearing sermons — but I wasn't being discipled. I didn't know what it looked like to actually follow Jesus in real life. Nobody had taught me that faith is about progress, not perfection.

So God gave me the vision for Disciples United. A place where people can come exactly as they are, learn how to apply the Word to their lives, be surrounded by real community, and grow together into the people God called them to be.

My First Ministry
God gave me a family — my wife and our boys Ayden and Jr. My home is my first ministry, and everything I build for the Kingdom starts there.
